Fire Note Says: Nice release for fans wanting more.

Album Review: Majical Cloudz decided to go out on a high point after last year’s excellent album cycle, which culminated with this EP of unused material from the album sessions.

Wait & See throws a few errant ideas into what seemed like a complete thought in Are You Alone?. Musically, it’s a further study of uplands topology, but maybe a degree warmer in the depths of its estuaries.

Thematically, the EP is a more explicit look at depression as debilitating compared to the LP’s view of it as enabling. The bleakness renders the work as a bit of an emotional dead end, but no less striking than the main work. Not a great entry point, but a fitting send off.

Key Tracks: “Wait & See” / “Let Me Lie”
