The news couldn’t be any sadder this morning to hear that David Bowie had succumbed to a very private 18 month battle with cancer. His impact on the music scene and the catalog he left will be remembered and played by generations to come, which is a refreshing thought as the music world mourns his passing.

Bowie just released his latest album, Blackstar, on Friday and the “Lazarus” video is a new classic. Bowie has always pushed boundaries and today, more so than ever, “Lazarus” is an exclamation mark on his artistry. RIP Thin White Duke – you will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
