Slow Crush Drop Hypnotic New Single “Bloodmoon”
Belgium’s Slow Crush are back with “Bloodmoon,” a gorgeous, shadow-soaked track that lands just a month before their new album Thirst hits on August 29 via Pure Noise Records. The band says the song is about “the struggles and pain of a passionate and purposeful life—but a life worth living.” It’s a swirling mix of darkness and light, where Isa Holliday’s voice floats above a storm of guitars that feel both crushing and ethereal.
On Thirst, the band leans into heavier riffs, dreamier vocals, and a raw emotional pull that hits harder than ever. The record was shaped at The Ranch in the UK with producer Lewis Johns, giving the four-piece space to reinvent themselves after years off the road. Isa admits some takes had her in tears—proof of how deeply personal these songs are. At its core, Thirst explores love, distance, and those surreal moments of connection that make everything else fade away.
Slow Crush want you to get lost in this record, to let it wrap around you and take you somewhere else—just like their live shows. Catch them headlining across North America this fall. Tickets are already moving, so lock them in.
Listen to “Bloodmoon” now and pre-order Thirst.
