I am not sure what your current relationship is with the emo punk genre but I will tell you that it is having a quiet comeback. Some of it is being driven from the label Tiny Engines that released quality records from The Hotelier and Somos last year.
Well, June 9th you can add Kent, Ohio band Annabel to the list and their forthcoming album Having It All. The Fire track today and first single from the album, “Everything,” is a perfect example of the energy they bring to the table.
The song covers you with a surrounding warmth that is upbeat as Annabel stretches out their lyrics just long enough to pull you in. The track is not so much an emotional roller coaster as it is an emotional punch!
