Video Premiere: The Fragiles – “Garden Of Cleaners”

| | , , ,

TFN is excited today to premiere a new video from Philadelphia’s The Fragiles. The track, “Garden Of Cleaners” is off of their new album, On And On, which was just released last Friday on Living Lost Records.

Animated and filmed by main band contributor David Settle, “Garden Of Cleaners” features hand-drawn animations over videos shot during hikes around Pennsylvania. The simplicity of the video concept fits perfectly with the soft lo-fi acoustic track that is about listening to Cleaners From Venus. In fact, this song is great nod to the 80’s English band, as Settles has a similar tone to Venus singer Martin Newell.

“Garden Of Cleaners” shows you another side of The Fragiles, as its quiet composure gives balance to the album which features plenty of 8-track lo-fi distortion and guitar grit. On And On is an album that needs more exposure and The Fragiles should definitely be on your radar if you are a fan of Guided By Voices, Honey Radar, or another Phili favorite of ours – Von Hayes.
