It is about damn time that Tony Molina hits us with some new music. His 2013 full length, Dissed And Dismissed, was a favorite here at TFN, so just the word “Molina” makes this Friday already better! The good news is that on October 28, Tony Molina is releasing a new 8-song EP titled Confront The Truth via Slumberland Records.
Now, I will warn you about the track today “See Me Fall.” The song will surprise you when you hit play because his scorching mix of guitar and fuzz from before has vanished. What you will hear instead is the softer sounds of the West Coast with his acoustic guitar and addicting singing voice. To capture the essence of this track, think mixing the smoothness of Elliott Smith with the raw musical acoustic intensity of Lou Barlow’s release last year, Brace The Wave.
We can’t wait to hear the full EP but this quick 1 minute burst of a song will stay in your head for awhile. You can pre-order the 7-inch right now over at Slumberland HERE and enjoy “See Me Fall” over and over below!
