Cincinnati’s Bunbury Music Festival is quickly becoming a force to reckon with as it returns for its second year with its fan-friendly atmosphere. With fun., MGMT and The National headlining – all who attend will be in for a good time.
The Fire Note will be on the ground in Cincy this weekend covering the festival so we thought it was important to highlight 10 bands you should not miss if you make it to the Queen city this weekend. You can still grab tickets HERE.

You left out Empires. Great Chicago band, and they put on a Hell of a show.
Agreed – Empires is a solid band – we could easily do another 20. Bunbury should be great!
While I was living in CHicago (and one show before here in Dayton when they did their first tour), I and my wife saw them a total of 15 or 16 times. The only other band I have seen that many times is New Found Gory, and that’s been over a much longer period of time. Watching them mature and grow as a sonic force has been a treat, let me tell you.
Shame I’ll miss them when they come close like this, but ah well. There will be another time.
