Aimee Mann brought Shins leader James Mercer with her to Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, where the pair duetted on “Living a Lie” from Mann’s latest album, Charmer. They blended their distinctive voices into smooth harmonies while Mann strummed an electric guitar and her band filled out the tune, which amounts to a frank exchange of views regarding a relationship.
