The Lemonheads – “In The Margin” [Video]

THE LEMONHEADS CRASH BACK IN WITH LOVE CHANT + FIERY NEW SINGLE “IN THE MARGIN”

The Lemonheads are officially back with Love Chant — their first album of all-original material in nearly 20 years! Out October 24 via Fire Records, the record ropes together old friends, fresh energy, and Evan Dando’s unmistakable knack for turning heartbreak into gold.

The band just dropped a new track, “In the Margin,” and it rips — fuzzy, fierce, and full of melodic bite. Dando says it’s got a revenge-story spark and guitar riffs stacked like firewood. It’s raw, tuneful, and totally classic Lemonheads. You can catch the lyric video spinning now on YouTube.

Love Chant was tracked in São Paulo with Apollo Nove behind the boards and features a killer lineup of guests: J Mascis, Juliana Hatfield, John Strohm, Nick Saloman (The Bevis Frond), Adam Green, and more. Already buzzing with the earlier single “Deep End” — which features a searing J solo and Juliana’s harmonies — this record feels like a proper comeback and a victory lap.

Plus, Dando’s memoir Rumors of My Demise drops October 7 via Gallery Books, just in time to read it between tour dates.
