The Detroit based quartet, Destroy This Place are ready to hit you in the face with their new track “The Bees.” The dirty rock n roll track is from their forthcoming third record, Animal Rites, which is due out on October 23rd via Forge Again Records.
If you are not familiar with Destroy This Place the band features former members of Frenchkiss Records Thunderbirds Are Now! and the indie group New Grenada. Animal Rites was recorded in four days with the help of Justin Pizzoferrato (Speedy Ortiz, Dinosaur Jr., Sonic Youth) at Sonelab Studios in Easthampton, MA. You can hear the energetic bursts throughout the just under two minute “The Bees,” which should get you all stirred up on this Friday to hear the full length next month!
