Brooklyn’s Hellbirds have re recorded all of Phil Spector’s A Christmas Gift For You, and have been putting out the album one song a day from December 10th-23rd 2014.
Today’s song is “Christmas, Baby Please Come Home” written by Ellie Greenwich, Jeff Barry, and Phil Spector. “Christmas, Baby Please Come Home” is the twelfth song off this album of holiday classics, and it will be the last song until Christmas eve. The band takes a darker shoegaze approach to the track which gives the song another edge.
