Go Team Snooper! “Pom Pom” Brings the Future of Punk to the Sidelines
Snooper are back with a new sugar-rush single and video, “Pom Pom,” from their upcoming album Worldwide, dropping October 3rd on Third Man Records. It’s their most gleeful blast yet—a pogo-ready jam that flips “cheerleader vocals” from diss to badge of honor.
Frontwoman Blair Tramel explains, “‘Pom Pom’ is about being your own cheerleader—taking the hits, rooting for others, then finally learning to hype yourself. And if you can’t laugh at yourself? That’s on you—GO TEAM!”
After cutting their teeth in Nashville’s DIY underground, Snooper—Tramel and guitarist Connor Cummins alongside bassist Happy Haugen, drummer Brad Barteau, and guitarist Conner Sullivan—are stepping confidently into their next era. Worldwide, recorded with producer John Congleton (St. Vincent, Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen), keeps the punk chaos intact while cranking up the hooks and rhythmic twists that first set them apart. It’s still furious, still fun, but now even catchier and sharper.
Snooper are currently tearing it up on tour with The Hives and will keep the party rolling through Europe after their hometown release show. Catch them while you can—their high-voltage sets are the stuff of legend.
