bob-mouldWith Best of 2012 accolades for his Silver Age album propelling it to #42 in the annual VILLAGE VOICE PAZZ & JOP national critics poll, Bob Mould has unveiled the video for second single, “Star Machine.”

Directed by Jon Glaser, the “Star Machine” video sets the excoriating “Silver Age” lead-off track to a darkly humorous narrative with stellar thespian turns from Bob and drummer Jon Wurster (Superchunk, The Mountain Goats) and bassist Jason Narducy (Spl:t S:ngle, Verbow). Bob commented on the experience: “Working with Jon was a real pleasure. He knows his rock history, wrote a very funny yet touching video treatment, and was a great troop leader for for this amateur comic.”

A lifelong fan of new music—spent the '90s working in a record store and producing alternative video shows. In the 2000s, that passion shifted online with blogging, diving headfirst into the indie scene and always on the lookout for the next great release. Still here, still listening, and still sharing the best of what’s new.
