Fire Drill Album Review: Dave Segedy, who just so happens to be a member of Bloomington, IN band Sleeping Bag, jumps out on his own with the ultra-catchy Schrodego. If Tony Molina’s Dissed and Dismissed pushed all of the right pleasure buttons for you, well then you better check this one out. Segedy’s grungy bass and guitars collide with sixties inspired pop melodies throughout the album, but attain perfection of “Walk Around” and “Perry’s Turn”. This record is short and to the point, it’s all killer hooks on this bad boy which gives it a high “instant repeat” value.

Kevin has spent the past six years as a partner in an independent record label in addition to his duties at The Fire Note. Kevin prefers cd and digital to vinyl by a fairly wide margin and has begun the process of giving his vinyl away (not the valuable ones or the gbv related ones though so don't ask).
