Green Day: “Corvette Summer” [Video]

| |

The Corvette Summer music video from Green Day is here and it’s a fun one! The song was named after one of Green Day’s favorite cult classic movies, so it only made sense that they pay homage to it with the music video.

Green Day got Mark Hamill (who starred in the original) to star in the remake alongside the band, Hannibal Buress, and some others. They blew the entire budget on actors so Green Day had to get creative with cardboard boxes, some duct tape and matchbox cars found in Tre’s basement.

The video was directed by the dynamic duo Ryan Baxley & Brendan Walter. Green Day’s The Saviors Tour starts in the US in 6 days. You can get your tickets here: https://greenday.com/tour
