Glazyhaze – “The Other Side” [Video]

Glazyhaze are excited to announce the release of their second album, SONIC, on March 21st. Independently written and recorded at home, the album is a reflection of the band’s bold and dynamic vision. Paolo Canaglia took care of the production, recording and mixing, while Maurizio Baggio handled the final mastering.

SONIC explores the complexity of love, tracing a personal journey of self-discovery and emotional contrasts across its two distinct halves that reflect light and dark. Side A delivers uplifting, airy sounds with bright melodies, while Side B delves into introspective, nocturnal tones and deeper emotional depth. These two halves, while distinct, are deeply interconnected and represent not opposites, but complementary facets of the same human experience.

Visually, the album’s duality themes are embodied by its cover, which features a single matchstick. This image symbolises the fragile tension between light and shadow, a fleeting brightness in balance with the inevitable darkness, reflecting the delicate and profound nature of the record.

Adding to their hands-on approach, the band self-produced the music videos and album covers, working alongside Cristiano Donadel and Francesco Giacomin to bring their visual vision to life.

Distributed globally by Hoodoh and Believe Music, SONIC will reach listeners worldwide. Glazyhaze invites you to dive into its emotional spectrum on 21 March, promising a transformative journey through light, darkness, and everything in between.
