Chuck Cleaver and Lisa Walker have made quite the pair since Wussy’s debut, Funeral Dress, came out in 2005. The group caught some much deserved steam with their solid 2014 record Attica! that even captured them some airtime on CBS This Morning during the weekly “Saturday Sessions” segment. Well, the group is now set to release their sixth album, Forever Sounds, on March 4 via Shake It Records.
The Fire Track today is the first song we have heard from the record and “Dropping Houses” has an opening grind to it that will instantly pull you in! The track has a new mystical quality from Wussy to it that finds Walker softly telling the story as Cleaver’s unmistakable drawl is mixed into the background and swirls around the song.
Needless to say it works and we can’t wait to get our ears on the new record! Enjoy your Friday.
