Los Angeles post-rock band GUIDES is our Friday Fire Track today as their intense track “Pictures On Pictures” is a highlight from their five song EP entitled Abstract Mind. On this self-released record the band gives it their all as the vocals of Chris Cogswell seem desperate and exhausted but that is an important piece of the puzzle here as nothing in life is easy.
GUIDES keep the dream alive on their new EP and reach for the sky with the wall of sound they hit you with on “Pictures On Picutures.” The band shows a compentent and reserved process on the track, which takes the song to the next level.
