Missouri-based indie-pop trio Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin pays tribute to Branson, MO’s glory days in a new for single, “Nightwater Girlfriend,” taken from their fourth album, Fly By Wire, (TFN Review) available now on Polyvinyl.
Directed by Brook Linder, the band rented a helicopter, filmed at a water park, visited some roadside attractions, and enlisted the help of drummer (real name Bobby Lloyd Hicks) who used to play drums for Jonathan Richman.
A lifelong fan of new music—spent the '90s working in a record store and producing alternative video shows. In the 2000s, that passion shifted online with blogging, diving headfirst into the indie scene and always on the lookout for the next great release.
