WILDCAT! WILDCAT! SUPPORT ALT-J ON TOUR THIS DECEMBER
Critically acclaimed LA-based band Wildcat! Wildcat! are set to support Alt-J on the west coast run of their North American tour in December (details below). The taste-making independent label Neon Gold, who released the band’s latest 7” The Chief, noted that, “It was their Royal Tenenbaums-inspired calling card and flawless aesthetic that first caught our eye, but it wasn’t long before the trio’s technicolor serendipity pop had us hook, line and sinker…Wildcat! create a bristling soundscape like no other.”
Wildcat! Wildcat! is Jesse Taylor, Michael Wilson and Jesse Carmichael. The trio played together in various incarnations before officially forming Wildcat! Wildcat! in 2011. The first two singles from the group have already garnered widespread praise with Buzz Bands L.A. admiring their “lush melodies, falsetto vocals, arching harmonies, all done produced with admirable restraint.” Furthermore, the band’s track “Please and Thank You” is featured on the bi-annual Maison compilation from French record label Kitsune, celebrating their 10th anniversary.
