Fronted by vocalist and chief songwriter Lauren Hoffman, the Secret Storm’s latest EP, The Dragon, incorporates post-punk and grunge rock influences while maintaining her talent for pop melodies. This project shows that Hoffman has shifted direction, especially if you have lost touch with her career and are familiar with her first album, Megiddo, that was released in 1997 on the major label Virgin.
