Widowspeak is an American band comprised of Molly Hamilton and Robert Earl Thomas, known for its dreamy, western-tinged take on rock and roll. Their self-titled debut was praised for its reverential spaciousness, Hamilton’s haunting voice, and Thomas’s sinister Morricone-esque guitar lines. Widowspeak’s second album, Almanac, is due out January 22, 2013 and Captured Tracks is now taking pre-orders for the limited edition LP.
As always, Captured Tracks has created a nice package with a wrap around silk screened cover, gatefold w/ insert (part of the regular edition), two-sided exclusive poster illustrated by Molly Hamilton, on white wax and limited to 350 copies.
