Late last year Richard Edwards dug up the original tapes for Margot’s 3rd album, Buzzard and talked about how it had not been properly mastered. The vinyl edition of the album has been out of print for a decade so the analog tapes had been just sorta languishing in the vault. No more!
Per Richard, “Buzzard is now still as gritty and grimy as ever but all the colors shine a little brighter now.” To celebrate its 10 (ish) anniversary, the band is releasing this new restoration on double vinyl this Spring. It is a real limited edition and when it’s gone it’s gone. As always, they are also releasing an LP of acoustic demos from the “Buzzard” era.
The re-mastered from the original tapes limited edition 2xLP on clear colored vinyl can be found HERE. The album is scheduled to ship in April 2021. There is also another color variant available if you buy a larger bundle that includes a t-shirt!
