Altin Gün Light the Fuse Again With a Fresh Spin on a Turkish Classic
Altin Gün are back with a vibrant new cut, and this time they’re putting their own twist on “Neredesin Sen,” the beloved song written by Turkish legend Neşet Ertaş. The track arrives ahead of their upcoming album Garip, out February 20, 2026, and it’s the first real glimpse into where the band is headed next. If you’ve followed Altin Gün since their breakout in 2018 with On, you already know they specialize in taking traditional sounds and launching them straight into orbit. Here, they lean into that instinct again, shaping Ertaş’s melody into something warm, hypnotic, and unmistakably their own.
“Neredesin Sen” was recorded at Studio Jan Schenk, mixed by Jasper Geluk, and mastered by Kelly Hibbert. The animated video from Cheyan Lefebvre and Sylvain Rusques adds a playful visual burst that matches the song’s pulse. It’s a perfect entry point into Garip, which the band describes as their most exploratory record yet and a sincere salute to Ertaş, a towering figure who created hundreds of songs and shaped generations of musicians.
With the album on the way from ATO Records, Glitterbeat Records, and Gulbaba Records, Altin Gün are gearing up for a big 2026. If this first single is any sign, they’re about to open a brand new chapter with serious momentum.
