Burger/Dine Alone Records [2017]
Big guitar and big rock is what the newest offering from Toronto’s Sam Coffey & The Iron Lungs self-titled record has to offer and it is a hi fivin’ fun ride. The group pulls power pop hooks and punk like anthems that in today’s scene is almost refreshing because the music is likable and feels timeless. It has just enough dash of classic rock to raise the nostalgic eyebrow but the current mood of a punk rocker like Jeff Rosenstock.
