The shift here in not only that Hovvdy used programmed drums and electronic runs but it is how they blended those new avenues into the current road they have been traveling. This additional musical support gives this album the most depth we have heard from the band.

Pivotal Tracks: “Bad News” near the end of the album is a nice upbeat foot tapper that has a slightly different angle for the band that really works as their vocal interplay will quickly grab your ear. “Make Ya Proud” is a fantastic song that Martin wrote about his grandpa Pete that passed away last summer as it is a true celebration of him with some very connecting lyrics that any listener can relate to. “Forever” is a great sounding Hovvdy track that floats with their harmonizing vocals.
Lyrical Strength: Hovvdy’s lyrics cover a wide array of themes and showcases their personal growth as songwriters. Their ability to convey vulnerability and emotional depth should resonate with listeners and makes listening to all 19 tracks worth the time.
