The Friday Fire Track: CFM – “Rise And Fall”

| | , ,

CFM is the project of Charles Moothart. If you don’t know the band or name, you should know that he is a member of Fuzz, GØGGS and Ty Segall’s band. Today’s Friday Fire Track is from CFM’s second album, Dichotomy Desaturated, which is out April 7th via In The Red Records.

“Rise and Fall” brings a similar sound and vibe that we have come to expect from this grouping of talented musicians which of course is pulsing, electric, a little fuzzy and shreds hard. It also should be no surprise that Moothart recorded the album with Ty Segall and Eric Bauer, and then mixed it with Ty. Enough said – play this track loud all the way to its fantastic end and enjoy your Friday!

In The Red Records

A lifelong fan of new music—spent the '90s working in a record store and producing alternative video shows. In the 2000s, that passion shifted online with blogging, diving headfirst into the indie scene and always on the lookout for the next great release. Still here, still listening, and still sharing the best of what’s new.
