Want to discover a good sounding new band today? Of course you do – that is what Friday Fire Tracks are all about and today we bring you Brooklyn’s Acid Dad. The proclaimed psych-punk group has a new EP coming out February 26th titled Let’s Plan A Robbery, that is for sure to raise some ears.

The featured Fire Track today is from that forthcoming EP as “Don’t Get Taken” highlights a very Devo bounce meets Arctic Monkeys snarl with a Mind Spiders type punk. The song is just plain sweaty club fun as their EP holds high promise for what could easily be a killer full length hopefully later this year.

You can enjoy the track below and pick up the limited to only 50 copies on translucent blue double-A side cassette HERE.
