“A fusion of jangling hooks and unstoppable energy—”All Over Again” proves Hoover’s knack for reinventing rock’s past for the present.” – The Fire Note
The past has always been a source of inspiration for Duane Hoover. With one ear tuned to the classic melodies of The Kinks and The Animals, and the other locked into the raw energy of late ‘70s UK punk, he’s spent his career blending vintage sounds with his own modern edge. Instead of just looking back, Hoover channels the electric energy of these eras, pulling their spirit into the present.
Now, he’s giving us a preview of his upcoming album, Wayward Path (out April 2025), with the premiere of “All Over Again”—a high-voltage blast of The Who’s power and The Jam’s urgency. Fueled by pounding rhythms, windmill guitar chords, and soaring melodies, the track captures the feeling of being stuck in a cycle—repeating mistakes, facing the past, and pushing forward. It’s an anthem of reflection and resilience, built to be played loud. Hit play and hear “All Over Again” now!
“I was jumping around like a madman in the studio while cutting my guitar part.” It turned out great. It says what I love, what turns me on is right here in this song.”
