Neva Dinova Return With “Alone” — a Two-Minute Gut Punch With Heart and Grit
Neva Dinova are back with a brand-new single, “Alone,” via Saddle Creek, and it’s a quick hit of everything that makes them great — raw emotion, melodic punch, and one killer guitarmony in the bridge. It might only clock in at two and a half minutes, but it lands like a full-blown storm.
Frontman Jake Bellows says the song “came from nowhere — emptiness,” and that vibe bleeds through every note. The band recorded “Alone” with Omaha legend Vic Padios at his home studio, capturing a warmth and spontaneity that feels both new and familiar.
Following last year’s Canary, this standalone track marks another chapter for Neva Dinova — tighter, louder, and more alive than ever. They may never have chased the spotlight like their Omaha pals Bright Eyes or Cursive, but this era proves they’re still one of the scene’s most vital voices.
