The Friday Fire Track: Ultrviolence – “Guillotine”

| | ,

Dark wave post punk from Calgary is a good way to describe Ultrviolence. The band has a true mix of shoegaze movements with a darker undertone that rides into both Interpol and Depeche Mode territory.

Today’s Friday Fire Track, “Guillotine,” features a brighter keyboard pulse that surfaces out of the stormy clouds of the track and delivers plenty of emotion. The single is from Ultrviolence’s forthcoming EP titled Forty Knives. The EP will be out May 12, 2017 via Northern Light Records. Enjoy your Friday!
