Deap Vally are two tough Los Angeles ladies that play a mean blues riff ‘n beat and will be coming your way here in 2013. This intense duo is made up of Lindsey Troy (vocals/guitar) and Julie Edwards (drums) and apparently met in a needlework class.
Troy has one of those power vocals that instantly will grab your attention as the band is somewhat like if The Black Keys blended with Black Sabbath and were fronted by Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. We can’t wait to hear their debut do out later this year!
